Tailwind is my favorite Pinterest tool for two reasons: it pins your content at the best time of day, and it makes pinning to group boards a snap.
When you set up your Tailwind account for the first time, you’ll walk through the process of creating your own custom posting schedule. Tailwind will recommend a number of slots, and give you the option to add more. When I started using Tailwind with my Pinterest account two years ago, I went with about 10 pins per day at first, and have moved up to 25-50 in the months since.
Here’s an example of Tailwind’s automatic pin scheduler:
Once you’ve created your pinning schedule, it’s time to start loading up the pins. Tailwind has a fully featured scheduled pin publisher. With a few pins in it, it looks something like this:
My last favorite feature of Tailwind is the board lists feature. This is the tool that makes pinning to Pinterest group boards a SNAP. Taking advantage of Pinterest group boards is an important way to leverage your best content. Even if you don’t have a ton of followers yet, sharing your best pins to a Pinterest group board will get your content seen by tons of Pinterest users that might not bump into your pins otherwise.
If you target the right boards, you can get your content in front of tons of people that will share your content with THEIR followers, too.
